Diana Cunningham

Diana Cunningham has been in the grief education and bereavement support field for more than 20 years. As former executive director of The Compassionate Friends, an international support organization providing support to grieving families, Diana has worked with thousands of families and individuals after the death of a loved one. She has been a popular keynote speaker and workshop presenter throughout the United States, Canada and Great Britain. Diana writes extensively about grief management and creative coping. Many of her articles have been published nationwide.

Diana has traveled the journey through grief herself, beginning with the death of her husband at the age of 21 and then of her young son a few years later. Needless to say, she has a keen understanding of grieving people and is committed to making sure that no one has to travel the journey alone. She is a member of Association for Death Education Counseling; The American Academy of Bereavement and is Certified in Thanatology.
